The short version
- Your images never leave your device. Idunframe processes everything in your web browser. We don't upload, receive, see or store your artwork.
- We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking.
- A few settings and any fonts you upload are saved in your own browser, so the app remembers them. You can delete them at any time.
1. Your images and designs
When you open an image, cut stickers, add text or download files, all of the work happens on your device. Your images, designs and downloads are never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no access to them.
2. Information stored in your browser
To make the app work the way you'd expect, it saves the following only in your browser (using browser storage called localStorage and IndexedDB). This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your download settings (format, size, DPI, background) | So the Download dialog remembers your last choices |
| Whether hover tips are on or off | Your preference |
| Your layout and units (where the panels sit, measurement units) and which tips you have already seen | So the app looks and behaves the way you left it |
| Names of Google Fonts you added | So they're available next time |
| Font files you uploaded | So your own fonts are available next time |
| Your work: the images you opened, your settings, touch-ups and design board, as up to 20 saved versions (only if Autosave is on, which it is unless you turn it off) | So you can continue where you left off and go back to an earlier version |
This storage is strictly necessary for the features you use, so it doesn't require a cookie banner.
To delete it: clear this website's data in your browser settings (for example, in Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites). You can also remove fonts from My fonts in the app, and delete your saved work in Settings → Saved work and versions → Delete saved work.
3. Third-party services
By default, the app contacts no third-party services. Its fonts and tools are hosted with the app.
One exception, and only if you choose it: if you use "Add Google Font by name", your browser loads that font from Google Fonts, a service of Google LLC. Google receives your IP address and standard browser information when this happens, and whenever the app reloads a Google Font you added earlier. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you don't use this feature, the app never contacts Google.
4. Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Like any website, our host may automatically log technical information when your browser requests the site (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and reliability. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. We don't keep copies of these logs ourselves; Cloudflare keeps them as its own policy sets out.
5. Emailing us
If you email [email protected], or use Email report on the Help & Support page, we receive your email address and your message. If you tick the option to include technical details, the report also contains your browser and screen size, the size of the image you had open, and your settings. It never contains the image itself. Emails to that address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our Gmail inbox (Google LLC), so they are handled under Cloudflare's and Google's privacy policies as well. Cloudflare and Google may store and process them outside Canada, including in the United States, where they may be accessible to authorities under that country's laws. Cloudflare and Google are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers from the EU, UK and Switzerland. We may use an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) to help us read, sort and keep track of support emails and reports; Anthropic handles that information under its own privacy policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy) and may also process it in the United States. We use them only to answer you and fix problems (under the GDPR and UK GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you and keeping the app working), and keep them for up to 12 months after the conversation ends. Ask us at [email protected] and we'll delete your emails.
5a. Accounts and payments
The App is currently free and has no accounts or payments. If that changes, we'll update this policy before it applies.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. The app itself collects no personal information.
7. Your rights
Because we don't collect or store personal information about you (beyond any hosting logs described above), there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Everything the app saves is in your own browser, under your control. If you have questions or want to exercise a right under the laws that apply to you, contact us at [email protected].
Frieda Oghogho Udubra is responsible for how personal information is handled here. In Canada, you can ask to see or correct personal information we hold about you (such as your emails to us). If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC (oipc.bc.ca). If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how your information is handled, we'll make it clear in the app before it applies.
